Missing in Action

I'll be taking a little blog break for a couple of weeks.

Moving House

By my calculations in 25months we will have lived in 5 different houses - moving house 4 times (including to the other end of the country and back again). I can't decide if that means we are part-gypsy or just plain mad.

As you can imagine stress levels are at an all time high and knitting output is at an all time low (actually, pretty much non existent).

I'll be back once we are settled in our new house

Happy Knitting xx

ETA - we're only moving one suburb over but to a house that is a lot more child friendly (huge back yard and 2 sets of gates before the road). Hopefully it will also be a little warmer that this one come winter xx

  12. Oh, I feel your pain. Really I do. Since moving from Darwin in 2001 we have lived in 6 houses, and have just heard that we *may* have to move yet again. I just want to curl up and cry!

I hope the move isnt too traumatic and that you settle quickly in to your new home.

  13. Good luck with the move, look forward to reading your blog again once you've settled. Moving is a very stressful time and it's times like that you so need your knitting. Catch 22 huh? Take care.

  15. Hope all goes well with your move! I certainly can empathise - by the time Cassia was 7 months she had lived in 7 different houses (luckily she slept in with us so wasn't phased at all!). It's nice to hear of another crazy/stupid/brave/gypsy family (take your pick of adjective!). Seriously all the best. x
