It's my favourite of hers.

But I also love the 25 Favourite Socks from Interweave. It's full of great knitting history, techniques and patterns.
Also Claire Garland's "Dream Toys" (another birthday prezzie) is a very yummy book!Fresh Tea :https://www.blogger.com/profile/00437333157344089313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6622391971917833715.post-1563429251089439582008-10-08T14:30:00.000-07:002008-10-08T14:30:00.000-07:00Bib looks great, isn't it a sweet little idea... ...Bib looks great, isn't it a sweet little idea... I really like all of Erika Knight's books (the baby/toddler ones, Baby Bloom, plus Classic and Glamour). Handknit Holidays is a good one for a whole variety of patterns. I guess if you want to design your own, some of the instructional books, like Knitting from the Top Down or the Ann Budd jumper book (can't remember what it's called) would be good. Just so hard to choose!!Rose Redhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08510204661811765499noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6622391971917833715.post-29559372895306184512008-10-08T02:09:00.000-07:002008-10-08T02:09:00.000-07:00I love the baby bolero from On Skein too. You must have a fab library for knitting books - ours (depsite being one of the biggest in the city) seems to have only 80s style books full of fair isle and big baggy jumpers, and three copies of "dogs and the men who knit for them"! Go figure!!

As for best book - I dont have many, and it depends on what you're looking for, but anything by Elizabeth Zimmermann; Zoe Mellor for kids knits, and I second 101 one skein wonders as well worth it.Georgiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05540746821149865564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6622391971917833715.post-6017633550368880882008-10-07T15:06:00.000-07:002008-10-07T15:06:00.000-07:00I love the baby hat & baby bolero from One Ske...I love the baby hat & baby bolero from One Skein for new little person gifts too.

Favourite knitting book? That's a hard one. I've probably knitted the most out of Last-Minute Knitted Gifts - love it! I also love my 101 One Skein Wonders and am eagerly awaiting the release of the "Luxury" version. I just got the new Mason-Dixon Knitting Outside the Lines...as well as being pee your pants funny there are stunning projects in it too!Sharonnzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03208823723100893963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6622391971917833715.post-44576311043877762282008-10-07T14:58:00.000-07:002008-10-07T14:58:00.000-07:00Your little one is absolutely precious as a model!...Your little one is absolutely precious as a model! That is another great knit gift item.

It is hard to recommend a knitting book - I have a fair number but it is such a matter of personal taste. As far as a knitting resource book -I would recommend Knitspeak.Mr Puffy's Knitting Blog:https://www.blogger.com/profile/10129149473915655930noreply@blogger.com
